Twilight
Sixteen year old Taylor Wilson has a rather depressing past. Her mother died when she was a little girl and her dad left when she was born. She has been transferred from foster home to foster home, never staying in the same place for long. She gets moved again and starts at Clearwater high school. It's the same process every time and she prepares herself to leave soon, never getting too attached. Until, this one guy changes everything. Derek Johnson, quarterback of the football team. Taylor immediately falls head over heals for him. One problem though, he has a girlfriend. Will he eventually fall in love with her too and make her want to stay?

(UNEDITED, WRITTEN WHEN I WAS FIFTEEN, VERY EXTREMELY CLICHE ) Love stinks like a dirty gym sock, and that's why Taylor Hastings wants nothing to do with it. She doesn't need a boyfriend to be happy, especially when she's seen what kind of damage love can do. Already dividing her time between school, work, her stepmother's endless demands, and her secret online identity, Taylor accepts to tutor one of her classmates in English -and regrets it. She has to tutor Josh Bradley, the quarterback. Girls worship him like a god and Taylor doesn't understand why. He's an arrogant jackass who plays them like a football defense. Taylor's ready for football season to end so she can avoid him again, but the two form a surprising bond, trusting each other with their secrets. She finds a friend in someone she never saw coming. There's something else she didn't see coming. And it starts with L. © 2017 by Marlene Lopez. All Rights Reserved.
