Madeline Ash Wellington is a Templar that is well master in the arts of the sword. She has been working for the Templar Order since her mother had passed away. Madeline's father is unknown and nobody knows who he is and where he had come from. She begins to realize that the life of a Templar isn't what she wanted in life. She wanted something else; something that doesn't have rules or listens to others telling you what to do. She begins to distrust the Templars that had begun to run Paris, France. There were Templars here before, but these Templars are brand new and decided to take every step carefully, so their plan could work. They don't know that Madeline is getting sick of the ways the Templars treat everybody.

Arno Victor Dorian is a master assassin has been informed of this new Templar group that has sprung up suddenly. The Assassin's were losing as the Templar group came out of know where and have done some serious trouble. He begins to see a ghost from the past walking the streets not knowing that it were a woman name Madeline who is a Templar. When these two meet, he realizes it isn't who he thought she was. Arno stricken with heartache and Madeline wanting Freedom, will these two be able to work together? Will she aid the Assassins in their request to conquer Paris back from the Templars?
