Avory Adams, a Senior in high school, has a secret like no other.

Mr.(Logan) Shepard, a high school science teacher, has a secret like no other.

It all started at a New Year's party. Empty rooms, some occupied, all over the house. The music fading away as the time counted down to a new year and people pulled each other to the empty rooms.

When the school year started in late August, Avory and Mr. Shepard find themselves in a sticky situation when Mrs. Nelson, the principal, announced a new teacher in the school.
