Just as Skye is about to abonden all hope something happens during a routine sailing with her friends. Skye witnesses someone fall off the back of a party boat but no one on board notices. Skye doesn't think twice before diving into the freezing, shark invested waters to save them.
Skye saves the girl, at a price. Once safe back on the boat do these two strangers realize that they're soulmates. They finally found each other and they couldn't be happier.
It's not happily ever after though. Skye's soulmate is the famous actress Aurora, known through-out the world for her talent. Skye and Aurora must figure out how to be together through the trials of being famous.
