Preface| Every party had their outlier. For some, most people would think it was Scanlan of the legendary group Vox Machina. Yet as we know fate has its own working on the matter.
Enter amnesiac [Y/N] who happened to cross their paths. For the most part they appeared utterly normal as a human could be but well as the party would soon realize there is more to them than meets the eye.

Think of reader as like the group's Perrito or Groot in a sense.
I'm mostly making this for shenanigans so idk if this really has a plot or if this will be a one shot ordeal.
Takes place after S2 but idk what happens in CR so yeah...

Yes, these are CR one shots. I make these so I can still write about the MN and EXU but change shit around without ruining my other AU. Zia Zircon. The final member of Vox Machina. Her skin was made of stone. Her amethyst eyes-quite literally crystallized- were more enchanting than any real gemstone one could dig out of a mine. Her hair of the same hue shimmered as if it was at war with the stars themselves. She was as beautiful as an ornate statue. There in lay the problem. Such an appearance, however beautiful; did not garner love, or warmth or anything of the kind. How could anyone want to be with a monster like her? Her skin was not soft or supple, her hands were not comfortable to hold. Zia was cursed, you could tell with just one look. Without even knowing the details of her tragic tale. Vox Machina oneshots (might contain traces of campaign 3 and whatever else I eventually manage to carve out the time for) Once more a fandom of entirely too much depth has started living inside of my head rent free, of course, thus after a year inevitably bringing with it the unintended result of fanfiction dedicated to it. Disclaimer: I'm working off of vibes, random ideas my subconscious throws at me at ungodly hours when I should be sleeping, and limited bits and pieces of knowledge about the dnd world and critical role canon. Needless to say this probably isn't canon compliant, even when not intended to be a straight up alternate universe scenario. Let's call it creative liberties. (Obviously don't own any of the base material I'm playing with here.) Warnings for child abuse, human trafficking kinda, themes of death, loss and mourning, self-hatred and feelings of worthlessness, suicidal thoughts implied, torture and mistreatment of minors. Overall mental health issues. And the Briarwoods and their followers are their own warning (and responsible for quite a bit of the above).

I have my hands behind my head as I slowly turn my head to the side to see a demon also laying down and he has his hands on his chest. His hands moving up and down in sync with his chest as he takes soft breaths. He had his eyes closed showing of his red eye shadow. The moonlight shines gracefully apon his face making his jawline pop out. I never thought I would have a demon by my side especially such a- "enjoying the view?" Flirty one. "I- Maybe." quickly looking away from his bright yellow eyes, I blush. I hear shuffling beside me causing me to look back at the demon. He is now laying on his side facing me. "You know your dreaming right?" He asks and I hum confused "wake up." And with that I wake up in my usual cabin. I've been having dreams like that more often even though I haven't seen that demon ever in my life. Little do I know that will change soon. Hello thanks for reading through all that and making it to the end! I will try to update this book as much as I can but do to my motivation being down in the dumps recently it probably won't be frequently.
