Frank needed a character, and Charlie needed a muse.
Charlie Younge is a young artist at The University of Chicago; she is studying to teach art and other mediums. She formed friendships with people like Gerard Way and Pete Wentz. She would work on her art; but one day someone caught her eye from across the campus. He was short with black hair that was shaved on the sides and dyed blond, he walked like he owned the place. It drew her in; she became infatuated with him. She was so interested in finding out who he was that she asked around campus.
Frank Iero; a budding youthful author-to-be, maybe even a poet. He was very personally connected with his work, he would work for hours upon hours on his poetry and even song writing to see if he could do it. He didn't pay attention to the people around him, he only interacted with him roommate Mikey.

Don't Look Down
Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written. Frank Iero is struggling with his battle against drugs and depression when he meets artist Gerard Way in a coffee shop. The pair immediately hit it off, and begin their new lives together despite their many issues. - "Homophobic comments are not tolerated here," she pointed her nose in the air as she frowned down dramatically at Gerard. She crossed her arms aggressively causing her ponytail to sway behind her. "Listen kid, I'm the biggest fag in this place, so I'll make all the homophobic comments I like, 'kay?" She stared at him in disgust as Frank giggled, "It's true, he owns pink tools," he pointed out before she rolled her eyes and stomped away. "Why do you keep pink tools in the closet?" "Tools. I keep tools in the closet because where the fuck else am I going to keep them?
