Jason is the younger brother of Clair, the Blackthorn City Gym leader. After Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn, and Battle Frontier, he became a gym leader in Floral City. But two to three years later, he headed to Sinnoh to enter the Sinnoh League after not doing well recently at the gym to get stronger, where he meets new and old faces and the love of his life.
