How It Should Have Been: Sokeefe AU
[Complete] Sophie is a normal elf, with blue eyes and average abilities. She is a telepath and a polyglot, her two abilities the only special thing about her. Her biological parents are Grady and Edaline, and her sister is Jolie. The Neverseen and the Black Swan don't exist; all members are still alive, and their secret identities (such as Forkle, Granite, Umber, etc) don't exist. Tam and Linh were banished but made it back to the Lost Cities early, and Marella is not a pyrokinetic. (credit for the cover to @/l004p on tumblr!) Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter. Will she go after him or honor his wishes? Spoilers if you haven't read Unlocked. But if you're like me and aching to read the next book I hope this fanfic will help you with the wait.
