Please Stay (Desert Duo)

Set in Hermitcraft + life series universe

A hurt comfort story between GoodTimesWithScar and Grian. There will be a bit of shipping between the two in this story but not to much as it is not the main focus of this story, if something romantic were to happen at most it would be a kiss, but that most likely won't happen. Just an angsty fluff filled story about two best friends who only yearned to protect each other. This will be a slow start, and chapters will be pretty long. Safe for work!!

Grian and Scar had always been best friends, but they didn't overly talk about their emotions with each other. They had both been through so much it was hard to step back; to reflect and communicate. But there friendship was still perfect, it always had been. Until the life series. Everything was against them; when all they wanted was more time never did it feel like enough. They tried, but it was hard when the universe was against them. They'd go through different life series and then come back to Hermit Craft, and act as if the series wasn't destroying them. Act as though there weren't terrifying nightmares. The way they acted in the life series (vulnerable, open, giving everything they could to protect each other because they knew they didn't have enough time), to Hermit Craft where they acted as if it hadn't happened at all was destroying them. At some point one of them would have to break.

These characters as well as the fan art is not my own, nor do I claim it as my own. This is completely based around the characters and not the content creators. If there is anything in this story that makes you uncomfortable, or you believe I portrayed it wrong, please let me know so I can fix it. Collective criticism is very much appreciated. I will go more into detail on what will be in this story on the first and second authors note at the start of the story.
