Sitting on a rock cliff, Rafael closed his eyes and let his mind wander to the events of the past that led them here. Glimpse of terror-stricken memories...appears in front of his eyes.

The fire sparks everywhere, crackling and hissing. It's a promise to take me away today. Is this how my story ends? It wasn't supposed to turn this way. Flames and smoke surround me, choking me. I can't breathe. I can't move. What did I do to deserve this? Who is their leader anyway? Why are they killing me? I have so many questions, but no one to answer them. Will I ever find out who I offended so much that they want me to turn into ashes? I exhale my last shaky breath, feeling my life slipping away. Through my flickering eyelids, I see a silhouette emerging from the dark. He walks straight through the fire as if it doesn't bother him at all. His skin glows with an inner light, and two horns adorn his head. No... it can't be him... No... it shouldn't be him... 'R... Rafael!'
