Untouchable

She stared out the window wondering, about her life, her family, and most importantly herself. She wondered why she couldn't be like everyone else. She had always been different from the others, although it had never bothered her before, once she hit high school, she grew more and more concerned. Emilia was 17 years old, a junior at Ridgemont high school, she was the middle child of four, with two older brothers and a younger sister. "I guess you could say today started out as any other day, well, that's what normal people would say." She writes in her journal. Now, Emilia or Mimi as her mom called her, was far from normal. She was born with the power to shield herself from anyone whenever need be. I guess you could say she was "untouchable". She didn't need her power much but, she figured she might one day and there wasn't much she could do about it anyways. The only person who knew of Mimi's power was her mother Delilah. Little did Mimi know, Delilah had secrets of her own.
