In present day NYC, Audrey is a girl who doesn't fit in. She's not interested in social media or getting the latest thing. Instead, she dreams of writing books. Amadeus is a King. He is also living in the present day, but not like we know it. With his parents' recent death and his kingdom slowly collapsing, he needs a Queen to make the kingdom whole. Amadeus has been looking far and wide, and is beginning to give up. Then he meets Audrey.
Audrey is faced with a decision. Does she give up her dreams to save Amadeus and his people? Or will she go against the feelings she has for Amadeus and Belidure to write her own story?
