Hammer

As I lay there crying I hear footsteps coming down the hall.

I run into my bathroom and lock the door. I hear a man voice "get the hell out of there!"

I slowly open the door as he chucks a hammer as hard as he can at the wooden door leaving huge marks.

He grabs my arm and throws me on the floor.

"Your worthless, useless, helpless, your not wanted and not needed!" I hear as he screams in my ear.

I start breaking down in tears.

" what are you gonna do about it." He exclaimed "I'm big and your small you can't do anything about it"

I get up off the floor and he pushed me down once more and I hit my head on the corner of my nightstand.

"That's all I remember." As the poise ask me one last question.

" has he hit you many times before?"

"Yes" I retorted in an embarrassing look on my face.

The cops left with all he info I had told them.

I walked inside with makeup running down my face and tears in my eyes I looked up and she was right there in front of me.
