In New York City, crime is rampant, with gangs terrorizing the streets. A mysterious vigilante, known as the shadow vigilante, rises to fight back by hiding in the darkness of the night. However, the title of hero is challenged when a teenage boy goes missing after claiming to be connected with the shadow vigilante, which causes suspicion. Being the daughter of a successful scientist causes you to worry for your safety, not wanting to become the next target or another missing teen. With social media and the news constantly twisting information and stories about the shadow vigilante, no one knows what to believe is the truth. You never gave much thought to the mysterious figure and their identity. Until one night, you are saved by a mysterious figure who leaves without revealing their identity. Only to be left with a weapon they left behind, and you take it back home as you become curious about who your saviour is, hoping to meet them and return their sword. Little did you know you would meet them again, unknown to you, although in your father's laboratory. Finding yourself in a cage, pointing the shadow vigilante's weapon in their face. Watching the terror in the inhuman figure's eyes, chained before you, causes you to pause, conflicted about what to do next.
