however 2 years into her voyage asteroid debris from a planet (Theia) cause her ship to crash land on an unknown planet (Earth) killing almost all the passengers say for an 11 year old Naladian boy

thankfully Lincoln can communicate with Sasha and Sasha locates an escape vessel from the crashed ship Nearly 255 miles from their current location and its a race against time as Sasha discovers that the planet which is Theia heading towards Earth

so in order to keep Lincoln going lies to him saying his family is waiting for them at the vessel
