This story is temporarily on hold, as it's not really my finest work, and I will probably write more in the future, but it's really just another creative outlet. But if you're interested, please read!!!
At school, eight unlikely kids get stuck with each other in the astronomy elective, by the names of Caleb North, Carlotta Ramirez, Ailynn Maren, Gunnar Blakely, Mateo Diaz, Heath Jackson, Dallas Wright, and Eden Sharp. All but one of them failed to fill out their elective form, and got stuck in the surprisingly least popular elective. (The other actually wanted to be here)
For their club trip that their teacher is taking them on, they hike out north to Tailgate Point, where they begrudgingly set up camp and get ready to spend the next two nights studying the stars.
When an accident sets them rogue without their teacher in the wilderness, they have to find their way back home on their own with no way of transportation.
But as a new sense of danger arises in their journey, they realize that they aren't going to get out of this adventure without a few battle scars from the challenges.

Of course New Mars with it's alien technology, it's people, it's creatures and everything else about it shouldn't exist. Highly impressed with Dylan's flying skills, the president of New Mars offers to release him and his friend Zac into the New Mars Academy. OK, it's not the most prestigious place to study but it's far better then having their memories erased before being dumped back on Earth. They're soon befriended by fellow misfits including mayhem making ladette and talented hacker 'mischievous' Maya, disturbed and angry girl 'crazy' Daisy with her dark mysterious past and likeable conspiracy theorist 'loony' Lauren. Together they must fight the return of the evil dictatorship before it can wreck the re-emerging New Martian society. Two of them flew to Japan but they lived in different cities. Two flew to China so that they can be together with their relatives. One flew to U.S.A. to have a better life. The last one of those eight was nowhere to be found. They lost contact of her and her family. For the past years, they gave up and thought that she maybe dead. "As I was walking home, a Lamborghini pulls up to me unexpectedly. Twisters got out of the car like ants and walked up to me. "Why were you talking to Ava?" Jayden asks as he rubs his fingers through his sharp blade. I say nothing and shrugged. They look at me and their anger increased. "Answer me. Why were you talking to Ava?" He repeats. "Don't know. Don't care." I say carelessly. What was wrong with me? They could literally take me out in a heartbeat, and no one would ever know. Jayden balls up his fists and makes a punching gesture. "You won't answer me? Fine. You're dead meat now, brother." He says and smiles as he runs toward me. I didn't have time to think and just ran really fast to home. Please let this nightmare be over with! I didn't have time to run home and they eventually caught up to me. They cornered me and Jayden slashes his blade on my cheek. I screamed in pain. I was already dumb enough to try to talk back to Twisters and was now dumb-founded to be cornered by them. "Stop!..." I finally muttered. They laughed and Jayden held me up by my shirt. "Do you seriously think I'll just let you go that easily?" He says and chuckles." *INSPIRED BY THE OUTSIDERS* Shout out to my math teacher because she wanted to be included!
