Its a short story about a girl named Azami who is cursed and desperate to find a way to heal herself. She belongs to a cult that worships the sun and moon but is unaware of the dark secrets hidden by their leader. Azami overhears a conversation about a stone called the Stone of Freedom that can supposedly heal any curse. Intrigued, she contemplates stealing the stone to cure her own curse. However, events take a sinister turn when sages who have broken the cult's rules are mysteriously executed.

The leader's loyal servant, Mizu, approaches Azami and reveals that he knows about her curse and her desire to heal it. He offers to help her touch the Stone of Freedom in the temple, despite the guards protecting it. Mizu warns Azami about an upcoming lunar eclipse that will turn the sages into demons. Filled with shock and doubt about the true nature of their beliefs, Azami agrees to accompany Mizu on the journey to the temple, where they hope to find a cure for her curse.
