Demetria Nieves is one of the people who dreams of moving out of their home country. Right after college, she immediately went to New York, where her good aunt and cousin live. She desired to pursue her dream there, not knowing that it would be much harder than she imagined. While doing a lot of part-time job in the city of dreams, she met her small and short-term crush back then in college, which she eventually forgot as she was too focused on her unrequited feelings towards her boy best friend.
