Godfrey is a series about a team of childhood friends, fronted by Veronica and Marcus Godfrey, who are close siblings and heirs to the Godfrey fortune. They use their skills and expertise to hunt down serial killers and predators across the world and avenge their victims by inflicting the same injuries on them that they did. Utilizing a predatory chatroom on the dark web called The Blackboard, the vigilante group build an underground hideout under a Manhattan skyscraper owned by the Godfrey family. After their mother informs them, she has hired someone new to replace her and she will be taking leave somewhere they can't know. Marcus is forced to take on the role as CEO of Godfrey Industries and introduce a new member to their team.
Veronica is suspicious after meeting him but nobody else seems to sense he could be dangerous. They all encourage her to give him a chance to prove he is not a threat. What they don't know is that they should be threatened because Michael has been sent to take down the Godfrey empire and expose their operation by a man that they all believe Veronica killed twenty years ago when she was fifteen years old.
