I took three slow steps back when he took one step towards me. My breathing slowed and got stuck in my throat because of the close proximity. He took my face in his large calloused
hands but before he could do anything there was a knock on my bedroom door.

"Love are you getting ready?" my mother's voice sounded through the door.

"Y-yes, mother I'll come down soon."
