Fantasia.. A cruel country.
Delia was born there. A long long time ago in Fantasia began a very rare sickness.. The sickness where you will be falling apart, not to mention that Delia was one of those people. I will explain what the sickness is and what it does with your body and brain.
The falling apart sickness got discovered by a man named Nico, Nico got the sickness but they never knew how. Nico had feelings a feeling where is head is ripping apart like his lungs fingers and leggs... bit thats difrent for everyone. He also always felt dizzy. He lived a quite long time with the sickness, he died 1989 by the sickness. The feelings where to strong and they came to life. His head ripper apart, like his lungs fingers and leggs.
Delia was panicking when she heard the news. so did her family.

He completed his experiment when she was only five years old, but it didn't go as planned. The medicine rejected her body and in turn, created a deadly poison that coated her skin. She never got sick, her injuries would heal rapidly, but most of all; every blessing comes with a curse. Her curse? She'd melt anything she came into contact with.Complete

My soulmate AU is a bit different than others tho (I think). It branches off of the hanaki disease, but without the one-sided love. If a monster and a human are paired together, the human gains the drawbacks of the bond, getting said disease. Bonds such as this are rare, but apparently not TOO rare for your case. The only way to rid yourself of the disease is to mix the flowers with your bonded's blood (monsters don't bleed, but as a substitute, they can infuse a small amount of HP into the mixture to have the same affect). This antidote is unknown, as is the sickness, due to it being mostly off the records for decades. There are some small studies on it though, but most humans don't find their monster soulmate. Lucky for you, the fates are cheering you on.
