Harry stood in the empty bathroom- his heart ached, it was 2 am and his love for almost 7 years was holding onto life by a thread.
He was so proud of Louis - the doctors had already given him an expectancy of how long he would live... But he remained optimistic and his blue eyes never lost their spark. Especially when Harry glanced toward him.
His coughs had worsened and it worried Harry to the point of crying at night. Which should have been seen as a weakness. But Harry would only smile through his tears. Those were for Louis and Louis alone. 'It'll be okay... Won't it boo?" Harry found himself asking aloud, and he would take his love's hand. They would be okay... Even if they had to be separate for a little while. "I love you..." Harry whispered.

This is an alternate ending short story for my "Cross My Heart" story. You would need to read or at least start reading Cross My Heart first, to understand THIS story!!
