Over time as the disease was desperately suppressed it grew in its numbers, once children would hit eighteen they'd be tested for antigens and the numbers of infected persons would increase every year. Today it was next to unheard of to be uninfected and society had shaped itself around the needs of the infected. The four different strains of the disease would live together as the almost nonexistent uninfected population tried to avoid exposure.
