James had been through a lot, including protecting Sirius from being put into Azkaban on false accusations. James needed someone he could finally rely on, but he couldn't get past his own grief to find happiness. The wizard and witch couldn't take much more, but would one accidental meeting really change that much of their lives? Would they really become attached to each other, or would they despise each other? Would James really trust another woman in his and his son's life?
