Hera tried so hard to be the kind of wife that Zeus would return to, would never even think of straying from, but everyone knew it was a lost cause. Something that not everyone knew was that Hera had never even loved her husband, and she was straddling the line between bliss and remorse whenever she was with the person she did love.
Somehow people always seemed to forget that the goddess of marriage had never wanted to be a queen.
