In the course of a night, James finds out that not only the supernatural is all real but also that they desperately need him. Only James possesses the magic to reach the spring fey's prison realm and free him.

Can he do it, however? James isn't so sure. Choosing him as a 'hero' sounded like a cruel joke, and most supernaturals didn't seem to have much faith, either.
