Disclaimer: The first 7 chapters are near identical to the start of Child of Heaven, with a lot of it being word for word. Prior to writing I tried to come up with an alternative way to write it, but nothing I came up with felt it could match it. It's the only set of chapters like this, and everything else will be wholly original to my ideas and the source material (The Fairy Tail manga and anime). That being said, I hope you enjoy the story and I might rewrite these chapters later.

Erza beat the other two into the musty room and instantly a very audible gasp came from her tall frame. After a great deal of struggle Juvia and Lucy managed to push the redhead aside so they could squeeze into the room. When they finally made it neither of them could believe their eyes. The whole dusty attic was bathed in a bright, magical light. It seemed to swallow everything whole as the girls stood there in shock. Erza was the first to snap out of her shock. "Levy, what is going on? What is causing this?" "It's the book, Erza, the book of fairytales! Something's wrong! Two Lost Souls
Natsu Dragneel is 17 years old, he is in his final year at Fairy Tail High. Natsu is closed off, detached, rude and generally doesn't like being around people. He refuses to let anyone else in except those he couldn't shut out. There's a new transfer student and he just can't seem to get rid of her and he's not sure if he's annoyed or happy with her presence. Lucy moves to Magnolia transferring to Fairy Tail High hoping to get a fresh start after the last few rough years. She makes some fast friends who she seems to treat like family, she even reunites with a family member she hadn't seen in years. However she also bumps into the coldest man she's every met and something about him just seems off and maybe nostalgic. It's confusing, along with frustrating and it seemed like whatever she was running from was trying to catch up to her. The two teens both feel so lost, like they just don't know what to do anymore. Natsu feels broken and unworthy of anything, he doesn't even know why he's still alive somedays. Lucy is terrified and stressed keeping so many secrets sometimes she doesn't even know what's real anymore knowing that pretending to be happy doesn't make her so. The two can't seem to escape each other and they start to think maybe they aren't supposed to, maybe they were meant to guide each other. Find peace together no longer being two lost souls.
