I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. BOTW: The Lonely Knight
It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it!
