Promised a cure for her immortality, Petra joins a quirky crew without question. She should have asked questions.
15 years ago she lost half her body in a totally avoidable accident in her father's non-IKEA-standard lab. He used the tissue-fusing serum he created to save her, but it left her with major confidence issues, pesky immortality, and a body that's 40% raw meat. Some people have the worst luck.
With half a face and the body of a child zombie, she eventually runs out of options. When a profiteering scientist turns up with the serum she thought her father destroyed all those years ago, she's dragged into the middle of his villainous scheme by the ragtag team assembled to stop him. Mostly. Petra's just in it for the cure they're making.
Get the serum, make the cure, die. It's a simple plan. But things go south on their northwestern island when she witnesses a murder.

In a disease-ridden world, infection doesn't always take your life. Sometimes, it takes everything else. Some survive still themselves and awaken powers that defy physics and nature. Others rot from the inside out, becoming ravenous things with minds shredded beyond repair. They are called Defects Noxious's greatest experiment. Lives broken and remade. Creatures engineered to obey, kill, and die... before ever living at all. Monica Subject Eight can reshape matter into anything she can imagine: barriers, weapons, walls that should not exist, and impossible constructs. She was meant to be nothing but a weapon... but she clings to hope like a blade, yet the more she uses her power to protect the people she cares for, the more Noxious tries to carve the humanity out of her. Kaito the Defect who can seize a mind like a fist around a throat and bend the world. whose power isn't measured in force, but in the silence of every mind he could take without leaving a mark, was the one person she allowed herself to trust. The one person who looked at her like there was more inside her than circuitry and purpose. Their bond was forged in captivity, guilt, and silent promises. The kind born of survival, not hope. But when Monica discovers the truth that Noxious is quietly eliminating the older Defects to replace them with "better" versions every fragile thing she ever believed in fractures. Friendship becomes a liability. Loyalty becomes a weapon. And love whatever broken shape it took becomes a target to be erased. To save the only people she has left, Monica must destroy the place that made her... and face the horror that she may never outrun what she was engineered to be. Not even for him. Not even for herself. If something is built broken... is there even a version of her worth saving? "Pain, fear, hate, hope, love, those are the bones and pieces of me. Remove one, and the whole thing collapses back into the empty obedient monster they designed."

Home Isn't A Place. In a post-apocalyptic world infested with infected creatures that were once human, Wren Levy and her best friend Belle Rose survive the apocalypse. Or so we hope. They grow to adapt to the new circumstances and situation they must outlive. And although it's hard, friendship keeps their heads high. On a quest to find necessities and food, they run into another duo not quite as chaotic as them. Let's hope they beat the shit out of the upcoming events. //// "Okay, you go first." She gestured to the latch. I looked back at her, "why don't you go first?" "Because I'm older then you." By a month and a day... "Shouldn't that mean you go first, Miss responsibility." I smirked. There was a moment of silence between the two of us. This happens a lot, we just don't say anything, yet it says so much. "Just go before I shove you down." She laughed shoving me a little. I giggled and opened the latch, aiming my gun down, "it looks clear." I carefully climbed down the latter and aimed my gun immediately. "Any of you fuckers out here?" I asked, circling my vision around the hideout. "Is it good?" I heard Belle ask from inside. "Yes, you can come down your highness." I laughed, watching as she made her way down. "Thanks, peasant." She smirked. //// Just read it dude, it was fun to write since it's based off of me and my best friend.
