Emily Jacobs is the cousin to Tobin Heath. Emily Jasmine Jacobs is a 16 year old girl who never fit in with other girls because 1. She has a boys part and 2. She is 6'0. Why doesn't she fit in with girls? Because to them she's too tall and not to girlish. She is a tomboy. She hates wearing dresses and high heels and absolutely doesn't always wear makeup like the other girls in her school do. Emily Jacobs is the Soccer captain in Miami high school. She has some famous friends such as the Cimorelli sisters. Lauren and Dani goes to her school. After Maire's new coach makes her the 2nd captain for her team, much to her dismay, she decides to keep her promise and not quit. Maire also finds herself in a tough situation after she tries to befriend a new player from her team, a bossy, ruthless, and yet, a good goal scorer midfielder named Hadley, who hates her. However, when some of the players of the USWNT get injured after a practice game against a rough team, Maire along with three of her teammates, a goalie named Nora, Hadley the new midfielder, and a defender named Clara. Must take their place, in order to help the USWNT win another trophy, for their winter league. This time however, Maire is not alone on the field, and has her cousin Clara to play alongside her. When shy and friendly, 18 year old Maire also known as her nickname "Five" wins a ticket from a cereal box. And not just any ticket, a USWNT special ticket that lets the winner go to their games, train with the team, and even be one of their players for the whole season! When Maire finds out that she is the winner, she decides to turn it down since she is not a "big" fan of soccer. --------------------------- However, when Maire finds out that she can't turn down such a big opportunity, she decides to join in. Traveling to where the USWNT are training and staying at, she is at first excited and shy to meet them, but is too embarrassed when she can't do anything right, when it comes to soccer and training with the team, playing with the team, or even hanging out with the team (as a normal person).
