September Brennan is an introverted college student who can sometimes let negativity control her worldview a little too much. Her mother is convinced that she's going to be single forever, and her best friend Ryan is convinced that she's still pining over her grade-school crush, Charlie Parker. Then she meets Nick, and she's determined to put her lingering crush, and her negativity, behind her. But when a mystery surrounding Charlie Parker and his parents arises, September can't help herself. Will searching for answers, and Charlie, destroy her relationship with Nick and her friendship with Ryan? What will she discover about herself, and life, along the way?

Megan Stewart hasn't known much happiness. She's only 17, but her life has been hard. However, despite all that she's been through, Megan keeps a smile on her face. Meet Jared Wesly. He's the bad boy of the school. However, he's not so much a bad boy. He's simply misunderstood. Only, he's been through quite a lot, just like Megan. In fact, they have more in common than Megan knows. When Jared and Megan's worlds collide (quite literally), Megan finds herself drawn to the boy that annoys her to no end, teases her, but makes her feel happy and protected, something almost unknown to her. Megan must make a choice in the end: Does she take a chance with the familiar boy, or does he become another "What if?" in her life? NOTE: I first wrote this story when I was around 13-14, so there will be cliches and cringe-worthy writing at moments. *Caution: Some language*
