I look out into the parking lot and squint to make sure I'm not going crazy. Walking up with a bouquet of flowers is Justin. He's wearing a muscle tee, and my eyes settle on the part of his tattoo that's not covered up by the plastic holding the flowers. When he reaches me, I feel my face heat up and before I can say anything, he hands me the yellow roses. "I think we need a do over, and I'm not letting you go. But um...here's to friendship until then. If you'll accept." He looks so flustered and unsure of himself as I eye the flowers but don't take them immediately. It takes a long time for me to both find my voice and lose my pride. Finally I do something neither of us expect, and hug him by his neck. "Okay," I whisper, and don't let go.

"It's funny how you..." he leans closer to her as she says "Think I-i...I care about you..c-cause I don't". He smirked as he said "Nice. Now say that looking in my eyes and without stammering"

"Been about you, since I met you and imma keep it that way" You're special to me. You're the only one who I wouldn't mind losing sleep for, the only one who I can never get tired of talking to, and the only one who crosses my mind constantly throughout the day. You're the only one who can make me smile without trying, bring down my mood without the intention to and affect my emotions with every action of yours. I saw him one day from my bedroom window. And I couldn't stop looking at him. I didn't know why. This is a VERY short story. That's the plan. Just a brief break from my main books. Some fluff and some graphic/sexual scenes, because that's how I roll. Don't read if it's not your thing.

I felt his hand as it gently pushed the strands of hair that were blocking his view of my face, behind my shoulder. The action caused his fingers to involuntarily graze my jawline and neck making me stiffen. The short contact left my body feeling warm and my breathing to suddenly turn irregular. "I think you look beautiful." He said in that deep, soft voice that made me feel funny. I could still feel his fingers in my hair as they now seemed to instinctively move around the strands. "Thank you.." I whispered, surprised at how softly it came out. Could he even hear it? "My pleasure mamas." He replied, giving me my answer. The words leaving his lips sounded so good that I had to look to make sure he'd actually said them.
