In a universe dictated by who you submit to and who submits to you, it's a hard trying to go about life when you've mated with the wrong partner or those who choose to never submit to another, a bit of a taboo or so their told especially in a world where pairings are meant to be so simple and easy. Those without pairings are left with no choice. Either be casted to the shadows or put on the market as their world deems fit.
But what happens when those unlucky souls decide to change their fate. Will the past that haunts them consume them completely or will they accept the possibility of a brighter future through all the trials that will come their way as they make their steps towards unity.
