Arjun has been considered "The Guardian" for quite some time. How does holding such a title affect a person? After coming out of the Red War, Arjun realizes that they've got some discovering to do, and some growing to commit to. Basically a Destiny 2 story (or collection of stories) with some Destiny 1 references. I could've written out the Destiny 1 stuff but honestly I'm too lazy so you get the tidbits. Enjoy! Also the title art is my own :) P.S: This work is now no longer canon and will not be continued as I want to do a rework of Arjun and Gwaine as well, so this is out there for fun more than anything else. A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 1: New Light. When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived. Their lifespans tripled and they expanded their civilization amongst the stars and to other planets. This was known as the Golden Age until an ancient evil known as the Darkness that hunted the Traveler finally found it in our solar system. Everything was destroyed and this was known as the Collapse. Humanity would've become extinct if the Traveler hadn't of sacrificed itself, pushing back the Darkness with its Light. And with the last of the Traveler's strength, it created Ghosts, little mechanical beings to search for deceased people who are capable of wielding the Light as a weapon. The Golden Age- When the Traveler arrived, a time of peace, prosperity, and infinite possibility sprouted from Earth. This is a story about my Destiny 2 character Nova. As a new Guardian, learning from others and from her mentor Storm. A lot of the characters will be from my friends :D There will probably be a lot of spelling or grammar mistakes. I have dyxlesia and try my hardest to make sure it does not come out too much.
