Devotion, Self-sacrifice, Death.
The price of power and immortality.

Follow along with Thera, Behemoth-29, and Celeste's day to day life before the Tower falls.
Then come and experience their lives after the Red War. Trying to recover from losing everything.
The trials of being a Guardian are not for the faint of heart.
But, the Light will provide.

This is a repost from my OC intros on tumblr. I wanted them to flow better into this story so I have decided to make them the first 3 chapters to help with world building and context. Happy reading!

"You're not brave, you've merely forgotten the fear of death...Allow me to reacquaint you." The words wouldn't leave her head... Ghaul's mocking tone, the way he looked down at her like she was nothing but an ant beneath his boot with his eyes narrowed and stance radiating a smug triumph that made the Young Wolf grit her teeth and clench her jaw even days after the fact. His words though wasn't what caused her anger, even if they did send a pang of, something through her body. She ignored that (like she always did) and focused on the matter at hand for now, (for her feelings didn't matter; they never would.) Ghaul had invaded her home, the home of her people and captured the Traveler right from under their noses. He slaughtered her people, killed all who hadn't evacuated and he not once cared for the amount of innocent lives he took. The blood of men, women and children who just wanted to live in peace... He had killed all who stood in his way, and The Guardian hadn't been able to stop him from doing so... She had failed...she was right there before him and had fallen down on her knees, too exhausted to get back up and fight without her Light. (She was Weak...a failure...a coward...) The Titan could still feel the phantom pain coursing through her body in the aftermath of the attack, when she had woken up barely alive without her powers back in the city but now, sitting around her small camp as she finally took a break after days of walking that did nothing but fuel her anger. She'd find a way to stop the Red Legion, find a way to kill Ghaul with or without the Light even if it was the last thing she did. -OR: The Red War begins; The Young Wolf is pissed, never before has she failed like this, failed to protect her people but the Guardian is willing to do whatever it takes to make things right, even at the expense of her own health.

(Destiny 1&2 Fireteam OCs x Male Reader Story) DISCLAIMER: If you have not read my Multiverse Destiny story, I recommend just the first couple of chapters to get context whenever that Y/N is mentioned on my character sheet or in the story. In a universe fraught with relentless battles and unyielding darkness taking different shapes, Mox Cuhn, Serenity-1, and Chase Hamley stand together as Fireteam Phantom. These fierce guardians, bound by their duty to protect humanity, find an unexpected connection with a humble guardian outfitter named Y/N L/N. Though NOT a guardian, Y/N crafts and enhances gear with unwavering dedication, dazzling flair, and unrivaled beauty. All taught to him by Eva Levante, an elder who is responsible for all the wonderful techniques he uses now. However, Y/N has a problem of his own, a fight against his own darkness if you will, whilst intertwining with these Guardians in ways he never imagined. Y/N has been battling with cancer, incurable under most circumstances, and is now reaching his final shape. The fireteam of guardians and Y/N eventually discover that even in the face of death, love and friendship can blossom. This tale explores the power of what a connection can do in face of inevitable loss. WARNING: This story is mature, expect mature things. Also, lore and things are bound to be wrong. Welcome to fanfic, touch grass with me. Before you try and act smart or leave correction comments that don't benefit the story, now you know.

(Supergirl x Male Reader) When a Guardian, a Hunter, the successor to the late Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6 who wielded his legendary Ace of Spades hand cannon which now resides to the hand of this Hunter successor, labeling him the "Last Hand of the Ace of Spades", who took the role as Temporary Hunter Vanguard named Zain who in his past life was called Y/N which he now refers himself as, is on patrol on Nessus with his Ghost named Glace, finds a strange looking portal after dealing with some Vex and Fallen, the portal led them to another world... Another universe... Another Earth to be exact, one where it took them to what the Pre-Golden Age of Humanity looked like before the Traveler made its arrival to their solar system. In this new universe? He has no idea of the new journey he embarks himself on as he meets new allies who are heroes with or without superpowers, whether they're alien or not, and new enemies who are also human and alien, but nothing like he's ever faced before. But he also meets someone he ends up potentially falling in love with, a girl who is exactly his Guardian age of sixteen, the girl however... is an alien, a "Kryptonian". With his accidental arrival to this "New Earth" dimension, things begin to change as his influence stays within it, as the battle between Light and Dark begins to break into this other Earth, bringing forth new enemies for these heroes to face, but all too familiar enemies for the Guardian to face once again, along with his own allies to assist him and his new-found friends and allies. "Eyes Up Guardian" [Set within DC's Post-Crisis/New Earth era - Loose Canon also] * * #1 in postcrisis as of 1st of January 2024
