Every year there are 10 nights in which wolves believe they are the perfect night. Any wolves that turned 17 between any of these 10 nights, participate in something called the selection. A shaman calls upon the ancestors to decide a mate for said wolves. Aspen, a 17 year old wolf, is having her selection on the 5th night of the year. But something goes horribly wrong.
