James - sometimes referred to by Jamie - is struggling to find his footing as he uses rage like a second skin to cover the pain. At merely nineteen, still raging and hurting as he punches his way through pain, he's experienced far more trauma than most his age.

I guess he might use his trauma and pain as an excuse; who can really say?

Finally, just when he's on the verge of a vengeful physiological break, he's given a small reprieve in the form of the mighty Corn family.

They're the epitome of a well-fed, silver-bred family with syrupy smiles - and they also just happen to have the means to help someone as fragile as James.

Fragility comes in many forms, sadly enough.

James finally begins to see that when Danny, the eldest black sheep of the family, waltzes into his life like something shiny and new amidst a world of hellfire. It's been so long since anyone could understand James as deeply as the eldest son. Uniquely enough, instead of fearing the darkness like most, James begins to grow even more curious of the man as large as life steeped in mystery.

But not all is as it seems - many secrets lurk beneath Danny and his quiet exterior for very good reason.

Against sound judgement, James has made it his mission to find out what makes the man tick.

Perhaps he should've left well enough alone.

Perhaps not.
