Desert Aire, Washington is a calm, small town cocooned next to the Columbia river, where much of nothing happens... For 16-year-old introvert Zoe Rosales, Desert Aire is her ideal place. She doesn't see many exciting things happen and spends her days enjoying the Columbia River along with her companions. That's why she is absolutely shocked when the most extraordinary and terrifying thing happens... there is the sudden discovery that extraterrestrial life does indeed exist. Everything becomes hectic as the Extraterrestrials (who call themselves Astrons) suddenly target Zoe and her entire town. To add to the horror, the Astrons insist the world has come to its ultimate end, and that they are there to protect and save Zoe's family And there's a mysterious Astron boy who takes a sudden liking to Zoe. The Astrons are hiding a sinister secret that Zoe will lamentably discover and face on her own...
