Vanyë was just a normal Elf in Rivendell before someone new came into her life.
Someone unexpected. Sauron had been living under the name 'Annatar' in the first age in Rivendell, whilst creating the rings of power. He was anything but normal, and he would do anything to keep that a secret. Vanyë met Annatar, and something clicked, though neither accepted it at first.
They discover things about each other that one another thought would stay hidden forever.
