Naomi, a 12 year old Hawaiian-American, has enrolled in a new and high-quality school in her home city, after her aunt's death and her parent's disappearances. On her first day, she bumps into and meets a girl similar to her, A Blaxican girl name Aaliah. Aaliah and Naomi started becoming friends, and knew each other more. Suddenly Theo joins Naomi to school to get his mind off sad thoughts. But things start taking a drastic and sick turn when people go missing and later die a horrible death in Brentmore Junior High.
