And Then She Breathed

May was a special child.
She was born with a special gift.
She was different;
May lived, thought, and spoke her life
in
poem.
She didn't know any other way.
She was born with autism.
She lived a normal life, though;
she didn't struggle with anything.
She had some friends;
she had a lot of bullies.
Since it wasn't severe, May went to a normal class.
They thought she didn't belong.
May wanted to belong;
but she couldn't speak the way the others did.

No one can go inside and know how May thought.
