In rural Vermont, a gravitational anomaly appears near a remote and deadly gorge mutating five teens into super empaths.

Internet chatter about the geometric phenomenon attracts five adolescents --Creed, Mallory, Jaxxon, Gemma and Peter-lifelong friends who have been shunned as social outcasts at their high school. 

Instead of going on a class field trip, they decide to investigate the bizarre physics of the mysterious zone. 

As they explore the anomaly, the five unskilled empaths are exposed to an unknown force hidden in the ground. They discover alien energy has amplified their crippling empathic traits into genetic superpowers. 

They form a league and decide to create a community Utopia with their stunning new powers-swearing an oath to do no harm and help others-until one of them goes dark.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. Add a crush on the school's bad boy, Zac, who seems more interested in Stella, Blake's promiscuous best friend and also contending with another one of the school's popular boys, Lucian, chasing her constantly despite firmly keeping up her barriers. Everything seems fairly normal, at least at first. But, brewing nearby is a rage so intense that it's about to bubble over, and when strange things start happening around her, Blake can't help but fear the worst events will unfold and hope that it won't take the lives of those she loves along with her own. Be careful, because you never know what people are really thinking. - *Warning* Swear words, violence, thoughts of self harm, and spelling mistakes that I need to fix and I swear I will.
