( I'm not good at descriptions )

In a unknown time frame without popular Technology and popular brands a office worker tries to live his daily life without thinking to much of the endless, curious thoughts that might consume him. He hides behind a fake image with a beautiful wife, daughter and home until a unexpected business trip leads him to the streets of New York where he meets a young man that will do anything for some money.

Ryan is a simple minded person- That's something he always described himself as... but in the presence of someone that understands his identity, his self image and family issues he can't help but open up to him. The simple minded person breaking away from his tough mature image at the hands of a man he knew for only two weeks.

The story goes through childhood trauma and past down family trauma in both of these men lives.

Carnations in the Alley | manxman | (Historical Romance)

11 parts Complete Mature

| ManxMan | - Historical Fiction - Strong SEXUAL Content | Tossed aside for his sexual preferences, a young lord is abandoned by his family. But, he isn't alone for long as a towering, rather intimidating and...handsome man happens upon him at the lowest point in his life. However, this man doesn't look upon him with judgment in his eyes. There is a sort of unspoken sympathy, and it shows itself well enough when he is swept off his feet and taken to the man's home. Untouched, unjudged and given a place to stay, this young lord will come to find he's been given a second chance. But he's afraid. Of what? (This story is based on a character introduced in 'The Beauty of Coincidence'. You don't need to read that one, but a piece of useful information would be that Edgar works for someone named Norman Ramsey, a man who has accepted that his own son is gay (he is not homophobic even though it's the 1820s, and Edgar is extremely loyal to the name of Ramsey). Enjoy!)
