The story of a girl named Frances Walsingham, who's father is the head of spying and a high member in the privy council. She is very bright and very ambitious and wants to be more than just someone's wife. She wants to be one of her father's spies. But the crazy thing is, she starts to fall in love with someone who would be never acceptable to marry, her servant and long term friend. This is a story of love, of courage, and of taking hold of your own life and not letting anything hold you back.
