"Hey, boss."
Nothing.
He said nothing.
Nimona took in a shaky breath.
I should've known.
"O-kay..." She began. "Well, it was great seeing you, boss." The teen tried to turn on her heel, disappointment burning in her chest, but was stopped when strong arms wrapped around her tense frame. She froze.
"Don't ever do that again." Was all he said, and all it took for Nimonas eyes to fill with tears.

The Red Rose
She was lying on the rocks with her hand in the air. I remember her telling me a story about a girl who met her lover in a cave behind a waterfall and how they would always meet there in secret... An illicit affair between a prince and a prostitute. Till this day, I hate how the story ended, with the prince marrying a beautiful princess and the prostitute killing herself, unable to bear the pain of the reality she knew would one day inevitably come. Cold Water
[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. My dad, who had always been my hero, suddenly became a stranger, filled with rage and blame. He couldn't see that I was hurting, too; he only saw me as a reminder of his loss. The accusations cut deep. He said it was my fault for being there, for not doing something to save her. For being the reason she was in the car in the first place. In the years that followed, things only got worse. The abuse started gradually-a harsh word here, a shove there-but it escalated, leaving scars that I carried long after the physical pain faded. I was drowning in my own despair, struggling to keep my head above water while my father's anger raged like a storm around me. I only had a break from his anger when I started living with Aunt Dina-my mom's older sister. Well, that was because she found me nearly dead on my bed after I took a dozen pills. I was tired of living. I had hit rock bottom. The harsh whispers that followed me around and the stares at school. I pretended not to notice, like it didn't bother me. But it did. I was alone. Then came Athalia, a ray of sunshine cutting through my darkness. With her, I felt something I hadn't felt in years-happiness. She became my light through the darkness and my lifeline. ••••••••••• ● Warnings ⚠️ ~ Mention of suicide ~ Anxiety attacks ~ Rape attempt ~ Mention of self-harm ~ DepressionComplete![Reason To Live [COMPLETED]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/240668846-256-k605509.jpg)
Reason To Live [COMPLETED]
Killua and Gon are classmates, but they've never interacted before this. Killua was standing on top of the rail on the school rooftop, his final act just moments away. But someone had the nerve to pull him down. Gon had gone up to the roof to smoke, but when he saw the boy's body start leaning, he ran faster than he had ever gone before. He caught the boy just as he was falling and pulled him back to safety. Gon says that there's no reason to kill yourself, there's always something better waiting for you. "Oh yeah? Give me one reason to keep living."
