Forced to spend some time away from the guild, Jade wonders about looking for work and comes across a strange-looking imperial man. He claims to be transporting his deceased mother, but is there more behind this story? After the encounter, Jade becomes kidnapped. Will she have what it takes to make it out alive? Kill or be killed, enter into Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood.

Author's Note: Alright, second Skyrim fanfiction! I know a lot of people like Cicero, so I thought I'd attempt to make a story. Cicero actually scares the mess out of me, so I'll see what I can do. Decided to go ahead and essentially rewrite my other story (love bound in spilt blood) as I wasn't happy with the overall quality and want to write something a little more serious. (Ironic, I know, as if this isn't Skyrim fan fiction.) I want to follow roughly some of the previously made plot points in love bound, but overall have most things be more refined. Also, I want to actually take some creative liberties, and get away from real in game dialogue, lol.
