Soren and Irene were heroes whom fought often with decisions or without a reason. They never agreed on one with, almost like a taboo.
Sooner or later they did agree on something. Something unexpected was decided between the two and they couldn't do anything to change their fate that they chose. Irene and Soren was supposed to have a happy ending but will they still be able to change the fate knowing it all.
