Once, a well-known Chinese painter wanted to paint the most beautiful picture in the world, but he could not decide which of the many things on this planet it world be. There were so many beautiful things to choose from. then one day , he saw the sunrise. He decided that it was indeed, a wonderful sight to behold so he started to paint it. By:sundown, he found out that the sunset was more beautiful than the sunrise. But he also realized that every day people saw the sun rise and set. He said to himself,''How in the world will people appreciate my painting when they see the actual thing every day?" That night the painter decided on a plan. He would set out to ask people what they thought to be the most beautiful thing on Earth. He set out early the next morning to carry out his plan so that he could paint it. The first one he met were newlyweds. He asked the young man and his bride, "What to you is the most beautiful thing on Earth?" The newlyweds were so much in love with each other.

Moth

They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars. That was a long time ago. The dance has died. The world has fallen still. We float through the heavens, one half always in light, one half always in shadow. Like the moth of our forests, one wing white and the other black, we are torn. My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. Yet across the line, the others lurk in eternal night, afraid... and alone in the dark. I was born in the light. I was sent into darkness. This is my story.
