Alexandra Rani Martínez moved back to her mom's home country when she was very little. She never fit the beauty standards and never had a guy that made her feel pretty either. That didn't matter to her anyway since she always put her studies first. It all payed off when she got accepted to Harvard on a scholarship. While all her friends go out partying, she always stayed back and studied. Sometimes she gets jealous of the loving relationships her friends had, but still thought that it was useless. She had been single for 21 years, not caring about boys, but will her mind change during spring break? 

She was never interested in Formula one, but her friends forced her to come with them to Miami to watch the Grand Prix where she keeps running into a boy. And just her luck, she gets stuck in a hotel elevator with him. Was it just a coincidence? Or are their fates really intertwined?
