The pairing is supposed to give you your perfect partner. A divinely chosen ordained pair.
Most nobles forced into the pairing end up matched with a commoner and disowned by their families. Emmeline had come to accept this.
The neglected youngest daughter of an overly ambitious father, she had accepted trading her life of luxury for a chance to finally be loved.
However, everything goes wrong when she is paired, not with a commoner, but Cassius Marcellus. The nephew of the King and sole heir to the powerful Marcellus duchy, who was forced into the pairing to show royal support for the ancient ritual.

Emmeline quickly throws Cassius and his parents' plans into chaos when she refuses to be quietly discarded. She was promised a perfect partner who would love her, and that is what is going to get.
................................

Cassius opened his eyes slowly, his nose still only inches from her's. "Emmie." He slowed her worrying, reaching up to press a rough palm to her cheek. "It's fine." She waited a few seconds to check he meant it, before kissing him again. She moved slowly, as if wanting permission as she lifted one hand up to rest on his good shoulder. He chuckled, meeting her lips and humming happily against her mouth.
"I love you too." She finally admitted between kisses.
Cassius paused, pulling back to see her fully. "You mean it?"
Emmeline nodded, suddenly embarrassed. His answering smile was triumphant. "I will make you the happiest grand duchess this kingdom has ever seen." He vowed, kissed her hard before she could reply.

Venus Williams had everything most could only dream of-a life of privilege, sophistication, and the kind of effortless success that came from never having to struggle. At Burbington High, she was untouchable, a student of high society, reigning supreme as Student President. Politics, manipulation, and control were her weapons, and she wielded them with precision. But there was one thing she had never known: the true depth of love or pleasure, and, perhaps more crucially, the harsh sting of pain. Her life was a perfect, curated world, until she found herself stuck in the most unlikely of places-a tight corner, humiliated and sneered at by none other than Frank Harris, the school's janitor. The encounter was unexpected, and frankly, beneath her. Venus wasn't used to being challenged, let alone being taken down a peg by someone like him. Frank Harris had seen the worst life had to offer. Born from the grittiest circumstances, he had learned early that good things never lasted, that hope was a fleeting thing. He had long since stopped believing in anything but his own resilience. Yet, he couldn't seem to avoid Venus. She was always there, in the most compromising of situations, and every time they crossed paths, they couldn't help but clash. Their exchanges were filled with biting sarcasm, insults, and a constant, unsaid tension. They bickered, they degraded each other, and still, they circled around one another, two forces that couldn't help but collide. Neither was willing to admit it, but something about the constant pull between them was undeniable. The question remained: How long would they keep circling? And when the inevitable finally happened, would they crash, or would something deeper, darker, rise between them-something neither of them was prepared to face? ~HEARTS & FANGS~ {CASSIOPEIA & GIDEON} ~~~~ 'I hate you! I hate you! I'll never be the wife that you deserve!' 'I do not want the wife that I deserve Cassiopeia because it is you that I want.' 'Then,' she hesitated for only a moment, 'I'll never be a wife still yet yours!' she promised him. 'Say that again,' he told her in a hard angry voice, 'and face the rowen,' he dared her. Despite the threat, she climbed out of bed and went to him. She tilted her head to look challengingly at him with her sharp green tear stained eyes. 'I will never be a wife much less yours,' she repeated in a terminal raspy but rather confident voice. He stared at her for a long time, simmering. The tension in the bedroom thickened greatly. Silence reigned as their stare down intensified. All in the room stood in trepidation, awaiting his eppy. 'Everyone,' he ordered in a calm yet jussive voice that betrayed the extremity of his anger. 'Out!' he finished. They all festinated out, skedaddling away as quickly as they could before anyone of them suffered from transfer of aggression. And when the door closed with a small click sound behind them, he drew her to him unexpectedly. 'You are mine,' he simply told her with surety before he lipped her. ~~~~ 🌫She knew nothing, except that she wanted out, away from him, the beast. She knew not what she wanted, especially with a damaged head and fragmented memories. But, she just knew that she wanted nothing, absolutely nothing to do with the monster that left her in perplexity. 🌫He wasn't what she thought he was. He was what she would never dream to think. He was a part of her and she was a part of him. He would never let her go. She must be there, with him, under his spell, wrapped around his thumb lest everything would go wrong. And if it did, he was the only person who could try, mean try to put it back in place for with her, nothing wrong could ever be right. ~~~~~ #3 in Royal love #3 in Satisfying #4 in Fated love @OmaPhinaPhire

(THE ALREADY WRITTEN PARTS ARE)UNDER LIGHT EDITING! MORE PARTS WILL BE WRITTEN. Guards and sentries pour into the ballroom from the double-doors. The ones who were too stunned to act earlier seem to have gotten out of shock and unsheath their swords as they slowly and carefully approach me. ''Ohh, look who wants to have fun! They brought us toys!'' Helera says with sarcasm. ''Uhm, Lera? Your toys seem to count more than 3 dozens, you know.'' I say as they unsheath their weapons and start to encircle me. I had forgotten I just threatened an Alpha. ''I know kiddo!'' She sighs. ''Have a better plan?'' "We could challenge the Alpha Eddie and win the pack. But then we'd have to be a Luna. So much for freedom." Sentries rise their swords. A growl shudders the high walls and windows of the ballroom. To my surprise it isn't mine. The guards freeze on their spot, and stare at the source of the constant growl. ''Mate!'' Helera's voice is shockingly soft. ''Soulmate...'' I mentally whisper in his direction. The cease of his growl is the only sign that he heard me. ''Do Not touch her!'' He roars. ''Don't you dare hurt her! She is MINE!'' He roars even louder. The walls shake and everyone in the ballroom drops down to their knees. Karalea is soon-to-be-18 years old High school girl who tries to be as normal as possible and hide her true identity in the Human world, that she is a werewolf. Edited version of "The Protector." Excerpt: "You are my mate," he said to her coldly. Tracy looked at him intensely. "What does that mean in werewolf?" She asked curiously. "It means that you are my soulmate.'" "You don't sound happy about it." Tracy said cocking her head to the side. Closely studying his features, she briefly considered what it would be like to be a Luna. "Honestly, I could care less. My plan was to announce a mate this evening. You conveniently showed up. I don't intend to change my ways. I can have any woman I want, anytime I want her. You're mine by right, so get over it." "I am not anyone's property. Especially not yours." Tracy said firmly, hiding her tormented feelings. "I refused to be used. "she said angrily. Crowding Tracy's body with his arms, he boxed her in against the bookcase and growled. "I own you." "Really? I don't see 'Property of Douche Bag' written here." Tracy said, her voice heavy with sarcasm. Jonathan's scent was strong, arousing the tickle in her nose. The heat from his muscular frame drew her body closer. Holding firmly, she refused to melt into him. Jonathan dropped his heavy gaze to the rapid pulse beating visible on her pulsing neck. Stroking a single finger over the spot where his mark would be, he caused her to shiver. "That can be rectified." he said seductively. "Try it and I'll muzzle you." She snapped. Jonathan's green eyes darkened. lunging forward, he grabbed Tracy by the throat and pulled her forward. Elongating his teeth, Tracy remained calm. "You shouldn't have done that." she chuckled. Feeling the powers surge through her veins, her grey eyes glowed a burning silver. "You really shouldn't have."
