In the near future, where Earth is slowly growing more and more inhabitable, mega-corporations own most of the planet and the government has made the most important invention known to mankind (since the wheel), illegal.
In 2069, sex-bots were deemed illegal, and the ownership, or use, of a sex robot would result in an immediate arrest.
